TinyTask is a single unsigned 36 KB executable. Compare file size and SHA-256 hash before running any download.
TinyTask hooks keyboard and mouse input at the system level — required for macro recording. This triggers heuristic alerts in some scanners. These are behavioral false positives, not malware.
At 36 KB there is not enough code to hide malicious payloads. Add an exception for TinyTask.exe if your antivirus quarantines the file.
On Windows 10 and 11 you may see a SmartScreen warning the first time you run TinyTask because the executable is not digitally signed. This is common for small freeware utilities.
